The appropriate answer, of course is "Heck yes!" And I obviously feel the same way. I often like to have a glass of wine as a little indulgence for no particular reason, but wine and champagne are frequently accompaniments to a celebration of some sort. A friend's mother visiting us on a trip this summer suggestsed a great idea to capture the moment with wine corks. I'm an overly sentimental packrat, so I jumped on this idea and began collecting immediately. 
So her idea is just to save the corks from your special occasions (or just any old time) and write the date, place, and who you enjoyed it with. How cute is that?

That is a great idea. My hubbie saved corks for several years and finally made us a noticeboard from them. I dread to think how much wine was drunk to make that board :)
