Marketing Minute – Take Five (to Do Nothing)

February 11, 2010 separator marketing minute

Today’s marketing tip isn’t some deep, thoughtful insight. It is, however, very important to your sanity.

Take a few minutes out of the chaos and hodgepodge that is your everyday schedule. Have a cup of coffee and a magazine without the Crackberry or iPhone or e-mail or pile of papers. Take a little while to not think about work. You need to recharge every once in awhile to be a more effective person, anyway, so here’s your excuse!

How do you relax? Tea? TV? Cuddling precious little animals (like Rosco and Mish, of course…)? Tell me what you do to unwind.

  1. My marketer constantly comes up with different and quite interesting options for promoting a business not only online, but also locally. For example, custom printed products, which we are currently creating on the following page of printsafari, help expand the number of clients, reaching a wider audience.

  2. …that’s about right! Snuggley animals, magazines, and tea are the perfect recipe for a little R & R!!!

  3. I like cuddling with my purries & furries, a.k.a. my cats. There’s been many a day coming home from a stressful day at work and seeing them coming towards the door when I come in always sets the world right! 🙂

  4. I’m trying to take some time to sit back and reflect. But, darn it, my mind reflects, then plans, then begins to roll, and then it’s all downhill from there. 🙂

How do I relax? Hmm… I read a magazine. Or when I’m working on a project I tend to get in a zone and, believe it or not, it’s relaxing. Know what I mean?
