handmade feature | etsy printmakers

I’m a total junkie for anything hand-printed. There’s something wonderful about having a piece of original art, untouched by a computer or a laser printer, and this kind of art is typically really affordable. Seriously, chickadees – what other kind of original art can you get for just ten bucks? The Printsy blog is a great source for features and interviews of some of Etsy’s finest printmakers, and I’ve showcased a few for you here.
I own the Cricket Press piece featured below (I actually picked it up at an art fair because they’re from Lexington, too!) and a Mis Nopales calavera. Now I highly suggest you pick up a piece or two. How can you afford not to at these prices? Let me know if you’ve bought anything; I love to see what kind of art you guys love!!!

via Cricket Press – $10.00

via w/remote – $15.00

via Mis Nopales Art – $10.00

via Nature on Paper – $17.00

via Little bird designs – $22.00

via Lisa Stubbs – $32.00

via tomboy – $38.00

via Anna See – $20.00

via cabin + cub – $6.00
