Watercolor Facebook Tabs . Freebies

September 25, 2012 separator Blogging

Do you remember my free seafoam watercolor social media icons that I gave away awhile back? If not, click to see the regular and mini. Since I haven’t done a good freebie in awhile, I’ve decided to make you guys some custom Facebook tabs. You can use these with the matching social media icons to create a well-branded look for yourself and your blog – very professional!

Read on to download all the tabs shown above and to find out how to install them on your own Facebook page.

Here’s a screenshot of the Shrimp Salad Circus Facebook page with these custom tabs. Pop on over to check it out. You can click on them and see what they do!

How to Install Custom Tab Images
1.   Once you’re logged into Facebook and on your page, click that little arrow. It’ll be a down arrow until you click it.
2.   Click the little pencil in the corner of an app icon. You can now change the order of your app tabs using the ‘swap position with’ function. The ‘photos’ tab must remain in the first position, but you can decide which three you want to show next.
3.   Next, click on ‘Edit Settings.’ It’ll take you to a pop-up box with a couple options. Click ‘Change Image’ in that box, and load up your new, custom tab image. That’s it – voila!
P.S. After writing this, I realized that Kira has a comprehensive guide to customizing tabs over at Her New Leaf, so I’m going to leave it at this and let you use her recommendations for apps and whatnot. She also has a good tutorial for fan-gating with a ‘freebies’ tab.
P.P.S. Today is my dear friend Katie’s birthday today! Please pop on over to Lemon Jitters to leave her a happy birthday comment, and be sure to enter her mega-giant giveaway today, too!

  1. These are amazing!!! Thank you so much for this awesome freebie! It feels so ungrateful to ask but it would be SO incredible if you could add a Pinterest button to this beautiful collection. 🙂 I really enjoy your blog.

  2. I am trying really hard to do this on my business FB page. When I click on the down arrow to start, it just has a + sign and I don’t know how to add an app. Sorry, I am confused!
    Thank you,
    Heather

  3. Hey! I just tried to download the FB icons and the only one that was in the zip file when I unzipped it was the ‘shop’ icon.
