Hunger Games Collection from China Glaze

March 10, 2012 separator DIY Tutorial

Welcome to my ruther half-assed Saturday post. I probably would’ve just deleted all these awful pictures, except that I thought you might like to see one of the new Hunger Games nail polishes from China Glaze. That’s right – China Glaze sent me two of their new much-buzzed-about polishes to try, and I’ve snapped up a few shots for your ponderings.

I’m not going to bother with the steps for this tutorial. The notebook paper hole-reinforcer manicure has been done a zillion times, and I’d hate to act like I came up with it. If you do have questions, though, leave ’em in the comments. I’ll answer as soon as I can.

In the meantime, I’m at a wedding in Atlanta with some of the best people in world – yay!!!

Colors Used in this Look:

One of the colors I was sent is Agro, a deep, shimmery olive green. It’s a beautiful amount of shimmer – not enough to be tacky. I felt like it was subtle enough that I wore it to work all week, though that might’ve just been me being ballsy because it was my last week at that job… ;D

This is Mish, in case you’ve yet to meet him. He looks like an owl in this picture, so I love it. He’s my older baby, and he’s absolutely gorgeous, in case you can’t tell.

*Note: China Glaze sent me their polish for free. I’m writing about it because I like it – honest. I wasn’t paid for my opinion.

  2. I like this combo! I have tried using those rings before but in reverse (to make the half moons). I will definitely be trying it your way.
