my top secret project | bloggy sneak peek

July 25, 2010

Hello chickadees! I’m sorry that I’ve been a bit of a slacker lately. I’ve been working hard on that secret project that I mentioned awhile back, and now I’m ready to share it with the world, but I decided that you guys get to see it all before anybody else!!!

That’s right, folks – Shrimp Salad Circus is about to become a jewelry line to go along with my fun vintage goods! Many of the components are vintage, and it’s all 100% made by moi! I have hairpins, necklaces, brooches, earrings, and rings, with bracelets on the way.

Now here’s the fun part. I need your opinions. What do you think of my new line of bling? Do you like the pieces? Any suggestions? How about the photography? Is it too busy in the background? Just right? Lemme know what you think!

  6. Good luck with your new line, and I love the ring and the turquoise earings 🙂

  7. I love them! My favorite jewelry pieces are the ones I “borrowed” from my mom’s jewelry box. Your pieces remind me of that vibe. I like the product photography too, I think the backgrounds add to the vibe and work very well.

  8. Congrats, how exciting! I love the turquoise earrings that sort of look like quote marks. I think the the aesthetic/presentation of all the jewelry photos is just lovely. Can’t wait for the debut!
