my top secret project | bloggy sneak peek

July 25, 2010

Hello chickadees! I’m sorry that I’ve been a bit of a slacker lately. I’ve been working hard on that secret project that I mentioned awhile back, and now I’m ready to share it with the world, but I decided that you guys get to see it all before anybody else!!!

That’s right, folks – Shrimp Salad Circus is about to become a jewelry line to go along with my fun vintage goods! Many of the components are vintage, and it’s all 100% made by moi! I have hairpins, necklaces, brooches, earrings, and rings, with bracelets on the way.

Now here’s the fun part. I need your opinions. What do you think of my new line of bling? Do you like the pieces? Any suggestions? How about the photography? Is it too busy in the background? Just right? Lemme know what you think!

  1. How exciting! These are gorgeous! I’d love for you to post some of these on my new site (it’s free to list and sell)

Congrats on your wonderful new endeavour!

  2. Oh I can’t think of a more wonderful person that deserves great fortune then you! I love all of it and don’t think it is too busy, however some people can’t concentrate on just the beaut;) I hope you’ll consider doing a review/giveaway on my blog?? Lol Congratulations Lindsay I hope all of your dreams become a reality!! Sorry for the miss spellings, I am sending this comment from my phone;)

  3. Congrats congrats congrats. Love the collection. Everything is perfect, the lighting, the jewelery line, the photography. Your collection is exquisite. Its difficult to fins fault. But maybe that is because I am a novice in these things. 🙂

  4. Congrats! I think they are all fabulous! My favorite is the bottom one. Good job!

  5. Its a little busy in the 6th & 7th photo. But I love the collection, and I love the rest of the photos!

  6. Good luck with your new line, and I love the ring and the turquoise earings 🙂

  7. I love them! My favorite jewelry pieces are the ones I “borrowed” from my mom’s jewelry box. Your pieces remind me of that vibe. I like the product photography too, I think the backgrounds add to the vibe and work very well.

  8. Congrats, how exciting! I love the turquoise earrings that sort of look like quote marks. I think the the aesthetic/presentation of all the jewelry photos is just lovely. Can’t wait for the debut!

  9. Hey, congratulations! Even though we’ll be in competition 🙂 (a little bit; I also have an Etsy jewelry shop).

The items and the photos are gorgeous. I’m tempted to browse right now!
