Free Mini Watercolor Social Media Icons . Freebies

July 22, 2012 separator Blogging

Sundays, more than any others, are the ones where I’m especially likely to “phone it in.” With that in mind, you get a totally lazy post to brighten up your Sunday – and your blog! Really it isn’t a post at all – just the other half of what I promised here. That’s right – these are the same buttons as you saw last week, but this time, they’re half the size! They’re shown at actual size on the ‘click to download’ button at the end of this post (after the jump).

Just like last time, this set includes eight buttons:
  • email
  • Facebook
  • flickr
  • Google +
  • Instagram
  • Pinterest
  • RSS
  • Twitter
Also, just like last time, if you like Shrimp Salad Circus on Facebook, you have exclusive access to a whole bunch more under the ‘freebies’ section, including:
  • Etsy
  • Behance
  • Blogger
  • StumbleUpon
  • WordPress
  • tumblr.
  • Bloglovin’
  • Independent Fashion Bloggers
  • Vimeo
  • YouTube
  • LinkedIn
  • Twitter Bonus
  • and more…

  1. Thank you for sharing! I want to try making my own icons too but where do I find the transparent logo?

  2. I just found these and added them to my blog, though I did edit the colors. I ended up getting the full version – love them! Thank you for allowing other bloggers to use your great designs. 🙂

    1. I’m so happy you like them, Rebecca. I love how you did multiple colors!

    1. They go really well with your header, and I love the soft grey!

  3. Hey! Thanks so much for the icons, they are super cute!
I edited the color a tad and they are up and running on my blog.
I need a little help with the html though, if possible. They are not lining up properly….and neither is my picture just above. haha……if you can help, i would greatly appreciate it!

    1. I don’t know if you got help with this or not…but I had a similar issue when setting up my blog. I ended up creating a draft post, loading the images to the post, then made sure they were set to ‘center’ align. After they were positioned the way I wanted, I added the links to each button so they would link to the right page or site.

Once all was said and done, I switched the post to HTML mode. I copied and pasted the HTML code in the layout of my blog on the HTML/JavaScript gadget that was designated for these buttons. I’m not a very savvy HTML person, so this may not make sense. If not, let me know and I can try to give more detailed steps with screen shots or something. 🙂

    2. I’m so sorry I’m just now seeing this, Heather! I just took a look, and I’m not sure what the problem is. You may need to add padding with html/CSS to give them a little bit of a left margin. Check out W3Schools for coding help. 🙂

P.S. I’m not sure I’ve got the email and rss links right, though.

  6. I would love to use these cute little things on my blog (LetaLately) but I have no idea how to do so! Any way you can give me a step by step or a few instructions?? Thanks so much!

  7. Sweet! Just decided I should add follow buttons on my blog. Thanks for these! 🙂

    1. Thanks, Ms. Cathy! I’m quite partial to the shade, though I’m planning a washed-out coral for the next set!
