Soooo my Google Alert e-mail completely made my day last week. Usually it’s just a bunch of links to my own blog (totally lame), but this time, my heart skipped a beat. I, little old me, was featured on Fossil’s Life and Style Blog!!! The article, entitled “Perfect Plant Markers,” featured my hand-stamped antique spoon tutorial from around New Year’s. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten such exciting press, so I’m still a little bit giddy…!
Oh, and I spent all day yesterday floating on a lake in a two-story pontoon boat complete with water slide. It was bliss. I got a little pink in spite of several applications of SPF 50 (yeah – 50), but I couldn’t have asked for better weather. What were you up to this weekend, friends?
