Jo Totes Giveaway

March 10, 2014 separator be inspired

I’ve been a fan of Jo Totes ever since I got my DSLR a couple years ago. You’re probably familiar with the line, but in case you’re not, it’s this amazing collection of camera bags masquerading as purses. I love mine because even if I’m not lugging my camera around, I can throw my wallet, keys, and chapstick in and head out the door. When the sweet ladies at Jo Totes offered to send me a bag, and host a giveaway, I jumped at the chance. I have the Missy in black, and it actually also has a sleeve that fits our laptop or my Kindle. The inside is heavily padded to keep your camera and lenses safe, and you can adjust the internal compartments with Velcro pads to fit any size lens or body. Right now I have my Canon T3i, three lenses, and my Holga in the bag, and I still have room for regular ‘purse items’ in the front pockets. If you’re looking for something a bit smaller, I’m kind of in love with this one

I had a ton of fun with this shoot because instead of trying to take pictures of myself with a remote and tripod, my gorgeous little sister modeled for me. I think she’s a natural, and she makes that bag look way better than I could! She’s a really good sport, too, because it was super cold out there while I made her hold still for picture after picture.
And, to celebrate Shrimp Salad Circus’s 5th birthday, Jo Totes has a great giveaway for you guys. Scroll down to enter now! Disclosure: Jo Totes provided me with a free bag and a gift certificate to give away, but all opinions are my own. And I love my bag.

P.S. How cute is this outfit for the transition from winter to spring?!

  1. What a great giveaway! I have a black/silver hard case I bought from Walmart 6 years ago when I got my first DSLR, it holds my 2 lenses and a few others but is so inconvenient and unattractive, especially if I’m wearing one of my babies and it’s banging around on my hip! These are beautiful, love your blog!

  2. 5 years in blog time should be counted like dog years because it really is an achievement to be still going strong and fresh after all these years
