What’s your favorite thing about the holidays?

Personally, I love pretty much everything about the season. Even though I’m not a fan of the cold, I still love wintry hikes (heavily bundled, of course) with Andrei or driving out to a farm and cutting down our own Christmas tree.

I love having the perfect excuse — and a few days off work — to visit family who we haven’t seen in far too long.

I love stuffing my face unapologetically on five different varieties of cookie, all before lunch on a random Wednesday.

And I love love love picking out a special little something for my favorite people. I always carefully select the perfect item for each different personality and lifestyle.

I don’t know about you guys, but I get so much more joy from giving gifts than from getting something myself!

Me, My Lifestyle, and Making It Work

With my height and shape, I’ve always had trouble finding pants that fit my hips but don’t gap out at the waist or get totally baggy and stretched-out by the end of the day.

I’m on-the-go all day between my 9-5 job and Shrimp Salad Circus. It’s not unusual for me to work from 6:30 in the morning until midnight.

Feeling uncomfortable — whether it’s from sitting in the wrong chair or wearing stiff, uncomfortable pants — makes the day go by at a glacial pace.
