Raise your hand if you have a party for some tiny humans this winter, and you’re already tired of baking!
These polar bear Christmas donuts are what I like to call “halfway homemade” since there’s no baking involved.
These pumpkin donuts are another good halfway homemade idea for a kids’ party if you’re looking for something more fall-themed.
And if you’re looking for some all the way homemade winter treats, then check out these star Christmas cookies or these adorable little fudge Christmas trees.

DIY Polar Bear Christmas Donuts
Ingredients
- Mini powdered donuts
- Chocolate chips
- White decorator’s icing
- Cheerios
- Candy eyeballs
How to Make Polar Bear Donuts
1. Start by placing all your mini powdered donuts flat-side down on your working surface.
2. Fill the hole in the center of the donut with the white icing.
It should fill up the center of the donut and create a flat surface.
3. Stick a chocolate chip, flat-side down, in the middle of that frosting circle. That’s going to be the polar bear’s nose.
4. Place a dot of icing on the back of a candy eye, and stick it the front of the donut just above the chocolate chip. Add the second eye the same way.
5. Slowly, carefully*press a Cheerio into each side of the top of the donut. These will be the ears of your polar bear.
If you push the Cheerios in too fast, the donut will crumble and fall apart.**
**Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
